The award for Best Sound Effects, Foley, Dialogue and ADR for Animation in Television went to the same crew that won last year for an episode of the same show, The Penguins of Madagascar, the TV spinoff of the 2005 theatrical feature Madagascar.  “Every single moment had to be covered in the sound, like the original film,” said supervising sound editor Paulette Victor Lifton, MPSE. “But with the budget limitations of an animated TV series.”

“It’s a lot of fun making penguin sounds,” sound designer Ian Nyeste added.  “A penguin sounds a little rubbery, a little flippery.”
